LAURASTAR was established in Chatel St Denis, Switzerland in 1980 with just an idea.
Why can’t consumers have professional ironing systems at home?
In 1986 LAURASTAR launched the world’s first ironing system for domestic use and
it was an instant success.
Since then LAURASTAR have been constantly innovating and revolutionising ironing as we know it.
Today over 2 million LAURASTAR steam irons have been sold worldwide, and 25% of Swiss
homes own a LAURASTAR. LAURASTAR was launched in Australia in 1994, by PEA Pty Ltd and quickly
developed a loyal following. Today our customer base has grown to over 65,000 people Australia wide.
The LAURASTAR brand name has become synonymous with quality and professional ironing.
LAURASTAR ONLY manufacture quality ironing systems and therefore can focus all their efforts on developing the latest technology to make the ironing experience as quick & easy as possible while providing professional results. LAURASTAR Australia has grown exponentially since the launch in 1994 and now has showrooms across Australia in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. LAURASTAR is dedicated to teaching consumers how to achieve a professional ironing result in their own home.
