Laurastar has always designed its products in the spirit of optimum innovation and ergonomics. This mindset has been recognised through awards celebrating both its designs and technological research. For over 35 years, Laurastar researchers, engineers and designers have focused all their energy on ensuring that its designs satisfy your desire for beauty and perfection.

In 2002, Laurastar received the red dot Best Design Award for its green Steamup and in 2003, IF’s Product Design Award for its yellow Steamax. In 2013, year of ultimate recognition, it won the red dot Product Design Award, Chicago Athenaeum’s GOOD DESIGN award as well as Foire de Paris’ Grand Prize for Design for its Laurastar Lift collection.

THE SWISS DESIGNER’S INNOVATION

The Swiss designer has also been recognised for its innovations. In 1990, Laurastar received the Innovation Oscar for its Premium ironing system; in 2001, the silver medal at the Concours Lépine for its Magic ironing system and in 2012, the « Technology » Innovation Award for the Laurastar S7a model.
